Meet our Pastor

Hi, we're Jim and Becky Byrne. We are from Custer and moved to the Black Hills in 2022 from Hills, MN. Jim is originally from Madison, SD, and Becky from Hills, MN. Jim was a power lineman and electrical contractor for the bulk of his career before graduating from Sioux Falls Seminary in 2021. Becky has a bachelor's degree in Agriculture and worked the majority of her career in ethanol research. We have 2 sons. Garrett, 23, lives in North Dakota with his wife Lauren. Liam, 21, lives in Iowa with his wife Averie. We both enjoy hiking and exploring the Black Hills area. Jim enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on various projects while Becky enjoys reading and travel. We also enjoy family get-togethers when time allows. We're excited to share in the joy of the Lord with as many people as possible from the surrounding area. So, when you see us around, make sure to say hello!

Our Sunday Worship service combines old time hymns as well as contemporary praise & worship music

Communion

The EBC observes the Lord's Supper one Sunday per month, by taking of bread and grape juice as a memorial of the Lord’s death and in expectation of His return. Anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord & Savior is welcome to observe the Lord's Supper with us. Gluten free options are available.

Baptism

We believe baptism to be the symbolic act of the saved believer being immersed in water. If you are interested in baptism, please talk with Pastor Jim Byrne.

Handicap Access

Handicap parking is available. Chairlifts are available for stairs. There is a downstairs bathroom that is wheelchair accessible.
