Statement of Faith

    We believe that there is one true God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  1 John 5:6-8

     We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious and atoning death, in His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection and His ascension to the Father’s right hand. John 1:1-3; Matthew 1:23;  Acts 1:9-11;  1 Cor. 15:1-4;  1   2 Cor. 5:21;  1 John 3:5

     We believe that man is totally depraved, a sinner in both nature and practice, therefore totally separated from God, totally lost and in need of the convicting and regenerating ministry of the Holy Ghost. Romans 3:10,23; John 6:63,; 2 Cor. 3:6; Titus 3:5-7

    We believe that salvation is a gift from God offered to man totally “by grace” and must be received “through faith” apart from any works, plus nothing and minus nothing. Eph.2:8-10

     We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved unto “Life” and the unsaved unto “judgement” and everlasting damnation. We believe in a literal heaven, and a literal burning hell with fire and brimstone. 1 Cor. 15:20-23;  Matthew 19:14 & 21;  John14:2, 2 Peter 3:13, Rev. 21:8, Jude verse 7, Luke 16:23,24, Matthew 10:28, Matthew 25:46

    We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ, and He will reign as King over all the earth. James 5:7;  1 Thess. 5:1-3;  Rev. 22:12

     We believe in the local New Testament church which is a body of baptized believers who come together in obedience to Christ to carry out the dictates of the Word of God. Matt. 28:18-20;  Rom. 12:4-5;  Acts 2:46-48; 2 Tim. 3:16-17;  Eph. 2:19-20;  Eph. 3:20-21; Jude 1:20-21

    We believe that there are two ordinances of the local church—Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe baptism to be the symbolic act of the saved believer being immersed in water, the Lord’s Supper being observed by the church by taking of bread and grape juice as a memorial of the Lord’s death and in expectation of His return. Acts 2:41-47; 1 Cor. 11:23-25; Matt. 28:18-20;  Acts 10:44-48

     We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and is the absolute authority in determining the faith and practice of God’s people. We affirm that the sixty-six books of the Bible are inerrant, divinely, and uniquely inspired, and are given to mankind written as they were inspired by the Spirit of God. These Scriptures are divinely intended for personal study and interpretation under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.   We believe that when a person accepts the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, they can never be lost as they are kept by the power of God. Jer. 1:5;  John 17:12; Eph.4:30;  1 Pet 1:5-7;  Matt. 3:9;  Matt5:9; Matt:19:14; Rom. 8:16-17,21; Eph. 1:4

  We believe in the personality of Satan, in his power and kingdom, in his wiles, and judgment at the cross, and in his eternal destruction in hell. Luke 16:19-31; Rev. 21:8; Matt. 25:46;  Job 1:7-12;  Job 2:1-7;  Matt. 4:10;  Isa. 14:12-20; Acts 26:18;  Rom. 16:20;  Rev. 2:13; Rev. 20:2,7

   We believe God ordained and instituted marriage between one man and one woman. God personally performed the first marriage between Adam and Eve in whom all of the human race originated from in the beginning of mankind. Since God ordained and instituted marriage; man has no authority to change, or reinterpret what marriage is or is not.    We believe God created everything seen and unseen and has made male and female for the purpose of procreation. According to science and God’s word, mankind only has two born biological sexes, male and female. We will not recognize or accept more, or less than two born biological sexes.
